Ronald Brown

Engaged in real estate in the Albuquerque area since 1974, Ron formed Brown & Associates in 1981 as a company primarily engaged in real estate development. He has developed residential lots, multifamily, commercial, office and industrial properties in Albuquerque, Taos, Los Lunas and Belen. Over the past 20 years he has focused primarily on residential lot development for area homebuilders where he has sold in excess of 3,000 residential lots representing more than $85 million in total lot and home sales volume in the area working with 20 or more of the top builders in the region.

Ron has the expertise to find you the right community due to his extensive knowledge as a developer. Ron continues to be involved in the community as both Board Member and President of several organizations within the City of Albuquerque. Someone with experience as the developer of the community can serve as your best guide in finding the home that best meets your needs. Outside of Real Estate, Ron is an avid sportsman and baseball coach and parent of a teenage son.

JoAnn Brown
Real Estate Associate Broker and Certified Health Coach
As a native New Mexican, JoAnn grew up in the Albuquerque area and has been in Real Estate for 10 or more years managing, selling, building and making sure clients get what they deserve. She and Ron are husband and wife business partners who share the same strong commitment to providing their clients with superior service. Along with being a Realtor, Business Woman and working mother of four, with a teenage son still at home. JoAnn has a passion for working with people whose family/career priorities have caused them to put their personal needs on hold. She received her training to practice Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. JoAnn has been a competitive athlete for years playing high-level tennis, running half marathons and competing in triathlons and century bike rides.

Sharon Walsh
Office Administrator / Client Services Manager
Living in Albuquerque since 1999, Sharon has been involved with Brown & Associates Real Estate since 2002. Prior to real estate she has been a professional in a variety of fields, giving her a well rounded background in working with clients and providing quality customer service. Sharon directs and helps maintain communication with our clients, which is essential to our business, she adds home listing to our website, MLS and internet listing sites while making sure that the information and pictures are up-to-date. She also takes care of our print advertising and creates flyers for the homes. Sharon is also responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the office. She has a teenage daughter at home and provides home care for her mother.

Gary Chavez
Marketing Analyst
Involved in the real estate field for over 10 years, Gary is skilled in determining appropriate home values for both Buyer’s and Seller’s and has a keen sense of real estate marketing. He grew up in Albuquerque and is very familiar with all of Albuquerque and surrounding areas. He has been a licensed contractor for over 4 years and has also invested in and remodeled homes for sale. Gary is currently employed as an Albuquerque Firefighter and is able to work with the Brown & Associates team on his days off. He and his wife are the parents of a 7 year old. With all the skills he brings, Gary is an asset to the team.

Angela Gabaldon
Accountant
As a member of the team for the last 4 years, Angela handles all the accounting needs and makes sure that every real estate transaction is smooth and successful. She is a native of New Mexico and has lived in the Albuquerque area since 2007. She has a meticulous and professional approach to her work. Her excellent time management skills allow her to multi task and prioritize workloads, to obtain maximum results. Angela is a mother of 3 with 2 teenagers still at home.
